Enjoy a strategic advantage with the TK-3101 - Kenwoods first Short Range Business Radio (SRBR) handheld radio to make use of the new frequencies released as Easywave by the, Radio Communications Agency.

A single licence allows you to use an unlimited number of radios anywhere in England, Scotland and Wales. It may not be used in Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man.

The TK3101 (PMR446) can be used anywhere in Europe and is licence excempt. As from the 1st January 2004, SRBR will no longer be allowed.

*
Lightweight, tough construction In keeping with it's "go-anywhere character, the TK3101 measures just 58 (Wide) X 32 (Deep) X 135 (High) mm and weighs just 400 g (with supplied KNB-14 battery). Yet despite it's compact dimensions, it's ruggedly reliable, passing tough US military environmental standards - MIL-STD 810 C/D/E for rain, humidity, dust, vibration and shock.

* Simple, easy-to-use design The TK-3101 is designed for maximum connivance. There is a simple rotary volume/on-off switch to switch the radio on or off and adjust the volume. There are red and green LED indicators that inform you of the transceiver's status at all times.

* 9 Signaling codes for each channel (built-in) There are 9 signaling codes available for each channel to eliminate unwanted signals; you only hear calls from your own group.

* User settings To start using the SRBR service, all you have to do is select one of 4 channels and a signaling code. The TK3101 is a 16 channel radio.

* Choice of batteries Choose from two batteries for use with the TK-3101: the standard KNB-14 or the extra long-life KNB-15A. To help conserve power, there's a built-in TOT (Time out Timer), and the low power-battery alert function warns you that you need to recharge.

* The TK361 is available as SRBR plus RMR446 and the TK3101 is available as PMR446 only but channels cannot be mixed between the two systems. The TK361 is now obsolete.

Each radio is supplied with:-

* NiCad Battery (KNB-15)
* Regular Desk-top Charger
* Belt Hook
