Goodbye Price Drop, hello Discovery Quest!

Virgin's action channel has left the building.. well, Freeview.

Lots of people ask why the shopping channels can't be removed from Freeview and replaced with something else.

Well, Price Drop TV, owned by Virgin Media, ironically lost the auction for the slot it occupied on Freeview multiplex A (owned by ITV plc) and has now left the platform.

There should be a replacement channel, Quest (from Discover) to replace it very soon.
